Jamestown Business College, Southwestern Finalize Articulation

Jamestown, N.Y.—Officials at Jamestown Business College (JBC) and Southwestern Central School (SWCS) recently finalized an articulation agreement designed to assist business students as they proceed to post-secondary education.

As part of the agreement, certain SWCS accounting courses can be considered for college credits at JBC.

Associate Academic Dean, Gretchen Lindell, said that she was pleased at the extended partnership between the two schools.

“We are glad to work with Southwestern in opening up more opportunities for their students. They are already gaining important business knowledge and this agreement allows interested students the opportunity to apply those skills at JBC.”

SWCS Principal, Mike Cipolla, added that they are excited to expand their articulation agreements locally.

“We are pleased to be joining with Jamestown Business College to enhance our curriculum and academic offerings at Southwestern High School. Our students will certainly benefit from this agreement as they pursue higher education and explore the various careers available to them. We appreciate Jamestown Business College’s willingness to work with our District and see the agreement to fruition.”
