JBC Enrollment Up for Fall Start
Jamestown, N.Y. — Class is back in session at Jamestown Business College. New and continuing students officially kicked off fall classes September 10 at the college. Evening/weekend students, including bachelor degree students, begin classes September 11. Vice President and Academic Dean David Conklin said that he is pleased with the start and is excited about the future enrollment at JBC. “Our fall enrollment is up and we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of bachelor degree students at the college,” he said. “This indicates that our programs, schedule, and bachelor degree program continue to appeal to students in the region."

JBC President Tyler Swanson, also credits a strong faculty for enrollment increases. “Getting support and assistance from faculty members is so important to students,” he said. “Our students know faculty members are readily available to help them without needing an appointment.” Conklin also went on to discuss the importance of a schedule and environment that suits the lives of students. “The bottom line is having programs and schedules that people want for their college education,” Conklin said. “The numbers this fall tell me we are definitely delivering what students want and delivering them in an environment that allows them to be successful.”
