A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
In the Bachelor of Business Administration, students will experience a broad-based approach to the study of business administration utilizing extensive core concentrations for each of the following subject areas: management, general business, and general education. The program is designed to provide students with the necessary skills to be a more productive member of the private and public sectors of our "Global Economy." Students will develop the strong management skills necessary to be successful as they assume leadership roles at the strategic level of business.
When do you plan to start enrolling students?
Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis. Our first session began November 29, 2007.
What are the requirements to enter the B.B.A. Program?
A student must have an Associate Degree in Business Administration from JBC or its equivalent.
A minimum grade point average of 2.50 for work completed at the lower division level
How does a student apply?
Students meeting the basic requirements for the program will be admitted after submitting a simple application. (Remember, these applicants are already graduates of JBC's associate degree program.) The application is available online.

What about students who graduated from other institutions?
While we developed this program specifically for our associate degree graduates, we understand that others will be interested.
We currently evaluate transfer students for admission into our associate degree programs and will do the same for the B.B.A. program.
Can a student enroll directly in the B.B.A. Program?
No. Any student who wishes to pursue the B.B.A. would first enroll and complete the Associate Degree in Business Administration .
How long will it take a student to finish the B.B.A Program?
Seven quarters, or approximately 21 months of attendance will be required to complete the program.
Why is it only offered during the evening/weekend schedule?
The evening/weekend has been a very popular and convenient schedule for our students to manage personal responsibilities while at the same time obtaining their education. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Following completion of the associate degree, students will have the option to enter the work force to begin a career and/or pursue the B.B.A. degree.
What is the cost of tuition for the B.B.A. Program?
There is no increase in tuition and fees at the bachelor level.
What are some of the courses a student should expect to take?
Students can expect to take courses in Management, Finance, Information Technology, and General Business.
What type of employment possibilities do you expect for graduates?
100% of the employers surveyed responded that they would hire JBC graduates who hold a B.B.A. Seventy-eight percent of these employers currently employ JBC graduates.
